My Favorite Gold Markers for Hand Lettering and Calligraphy

Here are some gold markers that I really like to use for lettering and faux calligraphy projects. These are great for lettering on paper as well as unique materials like shells, pumpkins and more!

  • DecoColor - this marker is a bright and shiny gold that pops on dark paper.

  • Oil based Sharpie - this is a darker gold that’s nice on paper and on unique surfaces, too. I like how these look on faux pumpkins in the fall!

  • Pentouch gold - this is my go-to! I buy these in bulk! It is a true gold that doesn’t get streaky like other golds can.

Most of these you can get at a craft store like Michaels, or from Amazon! They all come in various sizes but I gravitate to fine or extra fine tip for all of them, depending on what I am working on. I find that those work best for the projects I tend to do, like place cards and signage.
