There’s no question that we are living in an uncertain & unprecedented time. There are so many people, businesses and causes that need the support of their community right now. I’ve been seeing a ton of stuff on social media about different ways to help, so I wanted to compile a list. I know that I’m privileged to be able to work from home and stay home comfortably, and wanted to do something to give back. And, it feels good to do something to help, if you are able to!

Shop local Maryland businesses this holiday season.

As much as I love stores like Target and the convenience of Amazon, I love shopping small even more!

Shopping at small businesses supports local makers and service providers. Shopping small helps the business owner provide for their family; when you shop local small businesses, it benefits your local economy, too. Small businesses create unique, handmade items and they put a LOT of love into their products (or services).
