Give Your Delivery Drivers a Treat!

Delivery drivers are working long hours this time of year and leaving some treats out for them is a small way to show your appreciation! I’ve seen this idea all over Pinterest and with the amount of online shopping I do (for myself and for business supplies), I wanted to do it myself this year.

I grabbed a bunch of snack food at the grocery store - I spent around $40 on snacks like:

  • Cookies

  • Chips

  • Trail mix

  • Goldfish

  • Granola / breakfast bars

  • Lifesavers

  • Small water bottles

I just made sure to get the “snack packs” of things so everything was individually wrapped. I don’t know if I’ll need to restock before Christmas, but I got a lot of food so I think it should last for the better part of the next few weeks. I just put a few of each snack in a box and set it on the porch on an old plant stand.

There’s tons of ideas out there for the wording of the sign, but I kept it pretty simple and used a template from Canva to make it festive. Printed it out, covered it in packing tape to make it somewhat waterproof, taped the heck of out it to my plant stand and voila!

DIY snack station for your delivery drivers!

We did a lot of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping, so have been getting a bunch of packages the last couple of days. We have the Ring doorbell so I can see who came to the door, and every single delivery person that’s come up has taken a snack! It’s made me so happy! I think this is definitely going to be a holiday tradition at our house!
